Funny

Gran and Poppa were able to come to Vegas for mom's birthday and Ryan and Veronica's wedding. Kelly and Chad also came out for a visit. We had such a good time with Gran and Poppa. We love when they come to visit. Unfortunately neither mom or myself got any pictures while they were here. :( We do have some pictures and a video of Kelly's boyfriend Chad trying to break Aunt Teresa's record with oreos in the mouth. He got 14 in there.

Future employees

We had In-N-Out for dinner the other night and Todd brought hats home for the boys. I figured Aunt Freens would appreciate this. :)

Work out Video

So, we don't have any full length mirrors in the house, and a couple weeks ago I found one at Wal-mart. We brought it home and Avery had quite the time dancing in front of it.

Sorry.............

So, I know it has been forever since I have posted anything on here. I keep thinking to myself that I really need to post something, pictures or just something!!! But when I sit down at the computer, I just cannot bring myself to do it. I have been seriously lacking in patience among other virtues that I usually have. lol. I am really going to try and be better about posting pictures, since the boys are growing and changing so much!!! So here goes a whole lot of posts all at once. Again, my apologies. :)

Twins

I love that the boys are big enough now that we can buy them matching out fits!! Here are so PJ's that we bought for them.

5 years!!!

I am kind of a slacker, since our anniversary was on Friday and it is now Tuesday, but I have been sick. Those of you who I have spoken to on the phone can vouch for me. I sound very manly and sexy. (at least that is what I have been told). Any hoo, Todd and I hit the 5 yr mark on Friday and it is amazing to me how fast the time has gone!! We probably don't have much to show for it, other than our two handsome, amazing, intelligent little boys. :) We had tried to plan on going away for the weekend, but then decided that it was silly to spend that kind of money on a hotel room, when we could save it have get something super fun later. Plus, I got pretty sick, so we probably wouldn't have had a very good time anyway. So, we are going to celebrate on Saturday by going to see Harry Potter and getting some dinner.

I just have to say how very grateful I am for Todd. He loves me despite my crazyiness, mood swings, and OCD. He is such an amazing man and I feel so blessed to have him in my life.

I tried to find a pic of our wedding day, but my CD drive is being weird, so when I get it to work I will post one.

The dog

We have a stuffed dog that was given to Avery when he was born. Taneil had the bright idea the other day to have him talk to Avery. He loves it!!! Whenever we want Avery to do something that he doesn't really want to do, we bring out Puppy and he does whatever the dog tells him too! I got a video of one of the times Avery was talking to him. It is pretty funny.

Love

I love my boys. They are the best things in my life and I thank Heavenly Father everyday that he has seen fit to send me two such special spirits. They make me laugh every single day. I hope that I can be the mother that they deserve. I may be a little biased but I think they are the cutest boys ever!

Tormented

We were playing with Kaeden and found that if we growled at him while he was walking in front of us his face would light up and he would laugh like crazy. I know it sounds like we are mean and just like to torment him, but it was funny. Here is a video:

Belated birthday

So, I have been a real slacker when it comes to blogging lately. I just haven't felt like it. So, I missed Todd's birthday. But we had a really good day. Had some great friends over for dinner and games. Here are some pics:

Coloring Project

What do you get when you have a Mommy that works from home, and an older child who gets into everything????? A live coloring project!! I was working the other day and turned around to catch Avery drawing all over his brothers face....

Kaeden thoroughly enjoyed being colored on. He thinks anything Avery does with him is just awesome. It is amazing and fun to watch how much he looks up to Avery already.

Lost it.........

Avery found the rocking horse that my parent's gave him for Christmas a couple years ago. Here is a video of him riding it. He was laughing like a maniac!

Moving

A look back......

It is hard to believe that just a short year ago today, I looked like this.......

and that early in the morning hours of April 4th, 2008... This beautiful little spirit decided that he was ready to come out (3 weeks early!!!)

He was immediately loved by his mother, father, and brother
He came into this world just a little old man, with skinny chicken legs

What joy and love have filled our hearts each day that we spend with him

I feel silly when I remember how terrified I was to have him.

What a different soul he is from his brother Avery

He is quiet and introspective.

Loves to drive his car

Is quite the handsome catch in his suit and tie

Always quick to smile and laugh

Always wants to know what your doing

Loves his silly faces

Has the biggest blue eyes surrounded by the longest lashes I've ever seen on a boy!!

And is such a good eater!!

We feel so very blessed that Heavenly Father decided to send this amazing spirit to be a part of our family. He brings joy and happiness to our lives everyday!!
