Christmas morning pictures

Christmas Festivities

Since Christmas was on a Saturday this year and Todd's family was heading up to Cedar we decided to join them instead of staying in Vegas. We left on Friday after work to head up there. Luckily we were able to get off a little early s we got out of town around 6. The boys did really well in the car on the way up there, but Kaeden started not feeling well once we got there. Poor thing had a fever and a very upset tummy. Once we got the boys to bed we got everything wrapped and put out for the next day. The next morning the boys actually slept in. By the time Avery woke up Tyler and Anamarie's kids had pretty much finished opening their presents. We had to go in and wake Kaeden up (he still had a fever and wasn't feeling all that well). So we opened our gifts we headed over to Trudi, Tristen, and Katie's house to open the gifts they had made for everyone. Unfortunately I forgot the camera for the second half of the gift openings. The boys loved their gifts!

Later in the day we had scavenger hunt around town that Katie and Tristen put together. It was a lot of fun. I was on a team with my mother and father in law and my niece Jorgi. We won!! Woot Woot! lol. Surprising since I was the runner. We then went back and had dinner, played games, watched a movie and just hung out. We had an awesome Christmas this year and are so grateful to be able to spend it with family and friends.

(pictures to come in the next post)

Christmas Party

We had an awesome Christmas party this year. Todd sang in the program. I was unable to get pictures of him singing in between wrangling the children. lol But they sang beautifully. We did however get pictures of the boys with Santa.

Deklan slept through the entire ordeal (this seems to be his MO)

Kaeden may not look excited but he couldn't wait to see Santa

Avery was beside himself with happiness to see Santa. He was so funny, he had to whisper his list to Santa so that no one else could hear it.

Christmas Lights

We take the boys to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory to look at the christmas lights every year. This year Deklan and I were both sick so Todd took them along with his family. Here is a picture of the boys sitting in Santa's chair.

Adorable child

So this morning we went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast as a treat for the boys. Kaeden being the silly boy that he is was making faces at me while we were eating. He was going from happy to sad and back again. I was recording him being silly and when I was done I noticed someone had walked up to the table. He was wearing a Sams Town jacket and proceeded to tell us that Kaeden was adorable. He was then asking where we were from. We told him that we lived right down the street. He said ok and then asked if we were going to the Rodeo at all. We told him that we would love to go but had never been able to or gotten tickets. He kind of stopped and thought for a minute and said ok, well, maybe we will be back to spread some holiday cheer. He came back about 15 min later and handed me 4 tickets to the Rodeo for Wednesday night!!!! We are soooo excited to go and hope that the boys will love seeing all of the animals. Who knew it would pay off to have such an adorable kid??? ha ha ha We should take him out in public more often!

Helpful brother

I walked into the living room the other day and found Kaeden sitting on the couch like this:

He says to me - "Alright, I am ready to feed baby Deklan!"
This was his angry nursing face. lol
So glad that I have boys who want to be soo helpful with their new brother.

Deklan's First Bath

Here is pictures of Deklan's first bath. He loves them!!! Put him in the warm water and he just relaxes and would probably stay in there all day if we would let him!!!

The grandsons

Since all of the grandkids where here in Vegas my mom wanted to get a picture of them in matching outfits all together. Here are a couple of the shots. The older boys all have the same shirts and the Logan and Deklan are matching since we couldn't find the same shirt in all the sizes. But they all have the same theme and are the same colors which worked out perfectly!!

Avery, Deklan, Kaeden, Logan, and Tyler

Here is one with Avery's face showing since it didn't in the other one.

Look at these three monsters!!! I think it may be a good thing that we don't live closer. They would probably get into a lot of trouble!!! They loved hanging out with each other for the weekend. I loved listening to the conversations that Tyler and Avery had with eachother. If I only had a tape recorder. LOL.

Best Buddies (for the moment at least)

Deklan's Blessing

We were so lucky to be able to have almost my entire family here with us on November 6 for the blessing of Deklan. We definitley missed those who didn't make it. Here are a couple of pictures from the day. As you can tell we definitley had a house full!

Halloween 2010

I got released from the hospital on Oct. 30 and so I wasn't feeling up to engaging in the Halloween festivities. But I didn't want the boys to miss out on the fun just because I was not feeling well. So I talked Todd into taking them to the ward trunk or treat by himself. He said that they had a really good time.

Kaeden the Lion, Daddy the surgeon w/"baby, Avery the scary Mummy

Here is the "baby" that Todd took with him to the Trunk or Treat. Apparently he got a couple of people with this. They thought he actually had Deklan out with him!! He got quite the kick out of it. lol

Playing catch up

Alright, so I am going to REALLY try to be better about blogging. I know that some people this is the best way they can keep up with the family and I have been really slacking on it. I am sorry. I am going to go back through Halloween to update everything. Love you all!

Deklan James Garyson

Deklan was born Wednesday October 27, 2010 @ 7:58am. He is 7lb 6oz and 21.75in long.
He has lots of hair and looks like both of his older brothers.

Avery and Kaeden came to the hospital to meet their new brother. Avery was so excited to finally meet baby "duckling" as he has been calling him, but Kaeden wasn't so sure about him.

He is a very quiet and relaxed baby. He cried when he was first born, but then he just laid there and was looking around checking everything out. Here is a video that Todd took right after he was born.

We are all at home now and getting to know each other. Kaeden has started to warm up to Deklan more and was so excited to help give him a bottle the other night. We are so grateful to have this new beautiful spirit in our family. Life is great!!!!!

Sorry.................again.

I have been reprimanded.........................a week ago......................I figure I had better update this thing or I am going to be reprimanded again, and this one may not be so pretty. Although, Mom does live in California so what could she do really?? Lol. Just kidding Mom. I love you!!!

So here goes a basic run down of the goings on.
Avery turned 3 the end of March. Most of my family came out to celebrate with us and we had a great time and loved having everyone here. Avery is getting so big and good at telling my what he wants and needs. He is completely poop trained. YAY!!!!!!! Hopefully soon he will add potty to that list, but for now I am super happy with the poop. My poor nose could no longer handle the poopy pullups. He is absolutley loving preschool and will be very upset in a couple of weeks when it is over for the summer.

Kaeden turned 2 the beginning of April. Since everyone was in town the week before we went ahead and celebrated his day as well. He is talking up a storm and you can actually understand most of what he is saying which is GREAT!!! He is finally sleeping all the way through the night. No longer waking at 2am for a drink. I am so grateful for this. It means I have a couple months of quiet nights until the next one comes!!

Baby #3 is doing really well. Growing and developing right on schedule for our due date of November 1st. We found out today that we are having another BOY!!! We are very excited and it gets more real everday that we will soon have another little addition to the family. Now we just have to decide on a name. Suggestions anyone??

Todd is doing really well with his new job at RC Willey. He likes the people that he works with and the work that he is currently doing. I love the fact that he has a set schedule and gets off at a specific time everyday!! YAY!!!

I am doing alright. My morning sickness is starting to subside a little bit. Still getting sick in the morning, but it usually does not last all day. Which I am very grateful for. Work is getting a lot busier and we are expanding into the office space next door. I am hopeful that they will hire more workers soon or my sanity may run away with me!!! I am no longer in Young Women, but have been called and the Relief Society chorister. I am grateful for my new calling and all the new stuff that I get to learn!!

Well, there is a basic run down of the happenings! I promise that I will try to be better about posting and actually getting pictures on here. Love you all!

Hello!!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. It has been a crazy couple of months and I really just not felt up to posting anything. After being reprimanded by my mom, I decided that I should probably give an update to everyone :)

So this will just be a quick run down of everything that has happened the past couple of months. I should probably start pretty far back since it has been a LOOOOOOOOOONG time. lol. So here are a couple of pics from Halloween. We had a wonderful time this last year. Amanda came for a visit and the boys love trick or treating. We also loved have Aunt Carol share in this holiday with us!!
My little chicken and dinasour

Kaeden and his friend Hunter. SOOO cute!!

Next up would be Thanksgiving. It was very quiet this year with Amanda coming to visit and that is it. Todd's family was up in Utah. I was able to cook the whole meal with some help from Amanda. It turned out quite yummy!!

For Christmas we traveled to California to spend it with my family. We were sooo excited for this trip! We headed out the day before Christmas Eve and everything was going great until we hit Bakersfield. The van ended up dying just north of town and we spent the night on the side of the road. Luckily we had put the boys fleece blankets in the car with us. It was FREEZING!! We finally made it to a hotel and Brian and Mom drove the four hours from Sac down to pick us up. It took us all day to get back up to Sacramento towing the van behind the suburban and then Kaeden got sick and threw up all over the back of the car. When we finally got to Mom and Dad's we had an excellent dinner that Brian made for Alex's birthday. The rest of the trip was soo much fun. We got to take the boys to the zoo which they loved. We stayed through New Years with them. Dad and the boys had worked on the van replacing the fuel pump and that seemed to fix the problem. drove the van around town and it worked perfectly. We headed home and made it to Fresno which is an hour north of Bakersfield before the check engine light came back on. We pulled off and found a auto part store. Todd changed the fuel filter in the parking lot hoping that would fix the problem, but to no avail. We made it to Bakersfield and decided to stay at a hotel for the night so we didn't die on the road in the dark again. Bright and early the next morning we headed out. We made it home with the check engine light on, but at least we made it home. Talk about nerve wracking!!! The van is still working, but definitely has some issues. lol

January passed quickly without much excitment. February came and things were going well. Just working and watching the boys grown. On February 10, Todd was in a car accident with the company vehicle. Luckily everyone was fine, but Todd ended up losing his job because the insurance would no longer cover him. Then the following week Todd got a call from someone in the Stake wanting to meet with him. He has been called to be the second counselor in the Elders Quorom for our ward. Talk about an eventful month!!!

As some of you know we have been trying to get pregnant for a little while now, but with Todd losing his job we had decided that maybe now was not the right time for it to happen. But as is usually the case, we found out the end of February that we are expecting baby #3. We are very excited, for this new little life to come into our family. A little nervous about finances and all of those things, but we know that the Lord will take care of us and we are putting our trust in him.

So those are the goings on of our household as of late. Thank you to all of you who stuck with me through this long post!!! I promise to try and be better and not go so long between them!
