So this will just be a quick run down of everything that has happened the past couple of months. I should probably start pretty far back since it has been a LOOOOOOOOOONG time. lol. So here are a couple of pics from Halloween. We had a wonderful time this last year. Amanda came for a visit and the boys love trick or treating. We also loved have Aunt Carol share in this holiday with us!!

Next up would be Thanksgiving. It was very quiet this year with Amanda coming to visit and that is it. Todd's family was up in Utah. I was able to cook the whole meal with some help from Amanda. It turned out quite yummy!!
For Christmas we traveled to California to spend it with my family. We were sooo excited for this trip! We headed out the day before Christmas Eve and everything was going great until we hit Bakersfield. The van ended up dying just north of town and we spent the night on the side of the road. Luckily we had put the boys fleece blankets in the car with us. It was FREEZING!! We finally made it to a hotel and Brian and Mom drove the four hours from Sac down to pick us up. It took us all day to get back up to Sacramento towing the van behind the suburban and then Kaeden got sick and threw up all over the back of the car. When we finally got to Mom and Dad's we had an excellent dinner that Brian made for Alex's birthday. The rest of the trip was soo much fun. We got to take the boys to the zoo which they loved. We stayed through New Years with them. Dad and the boys had worked on the van replacing the fuel pump and that seemed to fix the problem. drove the van around town and it worked perfectly. We headed home and made it to Fresno which is an hour north of Bakersfield before the check engine light came back on. We pulled off and found a auto part store. Todd changed the fuel filter in the parking lot hoping that would fix the problem, but to no avail. We made it to Bakersfield and decided to stay at a hotel for the night so we didn't die on the road in the dark again. Bright and early the next morning we headed out. We made it home with the check engine light on, but at least we made it home. Talk about nerve wracking!!! The van is still working, but definitely has some issues. lol
January passed quickly without much excitment. February came and things were going well. Just working and watching the boys grown. On February 10, Todd was in a car accident with the company vehicle. Luckily everyone was fine, but Todd ended up losing his job because the insurance would no longer cover him. Then the following week Todd got a call from someone in the Stake wanting to meet with him. He has been called to be the second counselor in the Elders Quorom for our ward. Talk about an eventful month!!!
As some of you know we have been trying to get pregnant for a little while now, but with Todd losing his job we had decided that maybe now was not the right time for it to happen. But as is usually the case, we found out the end of February that we are expecting baby #3. We are very excited, for this new little life to come into our family. A little nervous about finances and all of those things, but we know that the Lord will take care of us and we are putting our trust in him.
So those are the goings on of our household as of late. Thank you to all of you who stuck with me through this long post!!! I promise to try and be better and not go so long between them!

What a rough few months! We feel your pain. Is your van a ford cuz ours is and it sucks!! =) We put $8000 in it last year and we've got another $600 before it's fixed. Does Todd have a job yet?? If not, tell him to go to itcu.org and apply for a job. They're hiring!! Anything is better than nothing, right? Good luck in the coming months! I'm so excited for your new addition. Babies are so fun!
It was fun to read your long post! Congrats on Baby #3! This world needs more adorable Andrea babies to cuten things up. I hope Todd can find a good job soon! You're in my thoughts/prayers! xoxo
