Flashback!!

I saw this on a friend's blog and thought it was cool. There is a website that you can go to to find out what the number one song was for any given day. I went and found out what was the most popular song on my date of birth - " I love rock and roll" By Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. I thought it was fun to find out. Let me know what yours is!!

17 months!!

I can hardle believe that 17 months ago today, I had just had my first baby!! I can't believe how much he has grown and changed over the past months. I thought he grew fast over the first year, but the past 5 months he has really turned into a little boy and not a baby. He is now running, and climbing on everything!! He loves to read books, he will sit in the bouncy chair (which he weighs to much for) and read his books. He is also learning to talk - he says hi, bye, and bear. He has also learned a ton of animal noises. Even though we have our rough days, every morning when I wake up I say a quick prayer to thank Heavenly Father for the wonderful child that he has blessed me with. I am so grateful for Avery and the joy he brings to my life.

Update

It has been a little while since I have been able to put up any posts. This is because the motherboard went out on my computer and we had to send it for repairs. Anyway, there have been some changes in our family. Todd lost his job a couple of weeks ago, so we are currently looking for new employment for him. We are not sure what field he is going to go into right now. he has finally made a decision that he wants to go back to school to study history. But we don't know if we are going to stay here to do that, or if we will be moving away. I am doing alright, nothing to big to report right now. lol. Avery and Kaeden are doing wonderfully!! As you will see in the following posts. Avery is getting very tall!! He is currently 27lbs and 32ins. I can't believe that he is almost old enough for nursery!! He looks very much like a toddler now, not a little baby anymore! Kaeden is doing really good too! He is a little chunk! Although, he is smaller than Avery was at his age. He is currently 14lbs 10oz and 24in. I love what a chunk he has become. lol. He is giggling and smiling all the time now. Avery is still babbling quite a bit, but every now and then he says a clear word. It is great to watch him learning and growing. Although our life is a litte stressful, I am so grateful for all of my blessings. The Lord will take care of us and I know that if we keep doing what we are supposed to be doing, we will be okay. Love you all!

Best Buddies

Here is Kaeden and his buddy Hunter. They were born 24 hours apart. Too cute!!!

My boys

Heavenly Father has blessed my so greatly with the most wonderful boys in the world. They are so happy all of the time and just keep me laughing all day. It seems as though, when I am having a bad day, Avery can sense it and does something silly to make me laugh. He is such a crackup!! Here are a couple pictures of my sweet boys.
Avery has taken to hiding in the pantry
I had left the almost full box of fruit loops on the couch and left the room for a moment. This is what I found when I came back. lol
Here are my two handsome boys!! So cute!
Look at those baby blues!
He loves the bumboo chair!!

Poop!!

Okay, so I don't know if any of the other mothers out there have experienced this or not. But my boys seem to be communicating with eachother on when to poop. Now, normally this isn't a big deal you can change them one at a time, but for some reason, the diapers have been failing lately!! It is just ridiculous!!! I mean seriously! If it had happened once, that would be one thing, but it has happened 3 times now!! Luckily Todd has been home to help clean up the mess when it happens. I think my boys have it in for me!! lol

I know you probably don't want to see this, but here is a picture of one of the recent episodes.

Bath Time!!!

So we decided to give the boys a bath together to see how it went. It was a little hard a first being that Kaeden isn't sitting up on his own and we didn't have a bath seat for him.
Then we remembered that we had borrowed a bumboo chair from Tyler and Anamarie that is waterproof. So we put that in there. It was so fun to see them in the tub together.

Just a side note - if you decide to try this, just be aware that the bumboo chair floats in water. Hee hee.
